Having given birth to my first child without any problems I then lost my second baby when 12 weeks pregnant. I decided to wait for a while before planning another pregnancy however when I did decide to try again I found that after a year of trying I had still not conceived.

I had just started routine fertility tests with my GP when I met Hayley at a Mother & Baby show. I was really interested to see that she promoted reflexology as a fertility aid and after a brief chat with her decided that I would try a course of treatments. Within 2 months I was pregnant!

The first 12 weeks of my current pregnancy were not plain sailing and I suffered twice from heavy bleeding. I found that when doctors were not able to offer me any reassurance during those times that my reflexology sessions really helped.

I have continued with reflexology throughout this pregnancy and at 25 weeks pregnant feel a lot more energetic and generally a lot more positive at this stage of pregnancy than I did with my first. I plan to continue my sessions with Hayley throughout the rest of my pregnancy and once baby has arrived.

I would very much recommend anybody thinking about becoming pregnant, or indeed already pregnant, to include reflexology in their health care plans.
